Game Overview
Join Luigi in an all-new adventure at the Last Resort hotel, where things take a spooky turn when Mario and friends mysteriously vanish. Our brave green hero must face his fears, armed with the powerful Poltergust G-00, to save them. With Gooigi, his slimy sidekick, Luigi will navigate through themed floors filled with tricky puzzles and mischievous bosses.
But the adventure doesn’t stop there. Test your ghost-busting skills in the Scare Scraper, where up to 8 players can team up in local wireless or online co-op modes. Race against time to capture all the ghosts, rescue the Toads, or complete other objectives before the clock runs out. For even more competitive fun, join forces or compete against each other in the Scream Park mini-games.
As you explore the eerie hotel, you’ll be immersed in its spooky atmosphere, with every corner filled with creepy music and ghoulish decorations. In the main story, you and a friend can team up as Luigi and Gooigi in two-player co-op. Gooigi can walk on spikes, squeeze through tight spaces, and help Luigi overcome obstacles that would otherwise be impossible to tackle alone. Having a friend by your side is always a good idea—this hotel might not seem too scary, but Luigi would definitely disagree!
Capture ghosts and solve intricate puzzles to rescue Mario and friends in the haunted Last Resort hotel. Each floor offers a unique theme, complete with matching décor, puzzles, and bosses. Utilize the features of the new Poltergust G-00: slam ghosts, break defenses with the Suction Shot, and push back enemies with a Burst. Switch between Luigi and Gooigi in single-player mode, or let a friend join in as Gooigi for some two-player co-op fun. And when it comes to multiplayer, Team Luigi and Team Gooigi can compete in mini-game battles to see who reigns supreme as the ultimate ghost-hunting team.
