Game Overview
Airhead: Embark on a thrilling adventure in a vast interconnected world, where exploration, growth, and solving complex puzzles are key to your survival.
You play as Airhead, a duo made up of a small Body and an inflatable organism that serves as your Head. But as your Head steadily deflates, the race to save its life begins. To keep Head from deflating entirely, you’ll need to find air tanks scattered across the world while exploring a Metroidvania-inspired landscape full of new powers and upgrades that open up fresh areas and challenges.
Throughout your journey, it will be your responsibility to uncover the deeper relationship between Head, the air tanks, and the mysterious technology scattered throughout the world—unlocking the secrets needed to save Head at all costs.
EXPLORATION
Navigating through Airhead’s world won’t be easy. You’ll venture into dark caves, ancient ruins, and other unusual environments to rescue Head. Along the way, you’ll gain new skills, unlocking more areas and solving additional puzzles. Go off the beaten path, and you might discover hidden treasures lurking in forgotten corners.
PUZZLES
The world presents numerous puzzles, each testing your logic and creativity through the use of the environment, strange creatures, and old technologies. The complexity of the world will challenge you, and only by mastering Airhead’s many abilities can you hope to save Head.
COMPANIONSHIP
Body and Head must cooperate to achieve their goal, growing stronger together as their bond deepens. How far will you go to protect this partnership? When the weight of your decisions comes to light, will you be ready to face the consequences of saving a friend?
STORY
A symbiotic creature, dependent on its air source, is torn apart by an enigmatic machine. With its air slowly escaping, the head-like being faces certain death. Meanwhile, a humble Body, driven by a desire to help, witnesses this event and chooses to take on the Head’s survival as its own mission. Thus, Airhead is born.
Now, Airhead must rely on air tanks to keep Head inflated, all while searching for the mysterious machine that stole its air source. But this machine is just a small part of a larger mystery, and Head’s role in the unfolding events is far more significant than Body ever imagined.
